You Can Volunteer!

The old saying goes that "God couldn't be everywhere and that's why He made Mothers!" A contemporary version of this adage in the Vincentian tradition could be, "God is everywhere and even more so when Volunteers are helping!"

Volunteers take ministry to a new dimension: they give new life and new blood to whatever is happening. In one way, Volunteers help to keep the initial enthusiasm of a project going. They address old challenges with new insights and they go away, only to return refreshed and renewed. They add spice to the ho-hum of daily life and, in the process, create a new approach with greater insight than many who deal with the challenges everyday.

Where there are Volunteers, there is life, growth, spirit, energy and hope. Without Volunteers, only a small fraction of anything we attempt could ever be accomplished.
