Mission & Vision

The Daughters of Charity, in fidelity to their Baptism and in response to a divine call, consecrate themselves entirely and in Community to the service of Christ in their brothers and sisters, the poor, in an evangelical spirit of humility, simplicity and charity. (C.1.4)

VISION STATEMENT

The Sisters of this Province embrace the Charism of the Founders by serving those who are poor and by living a consecrated life in Community. We will nurture a more holistic approach to our lives and our works.

We will perpetuate the Charity of Christ and our Vincentian Charism through:

• Ongoing formation,
• Collaboration with other provinces, other congregations, the Vincentian family, and others,
• Preparation of lay leaders to continue our ministries to 2050 and beyond.
